All Fresh Air Screens are installed on the garage, porch, or similar structure using a hook and loop system. The hook side is sewn into the garage screen and attaches to the adhesive loop that is applied to frame. Orders come with a standard white loop roll that is premeasured to fit the screen. Can This Model Roll Up?
Does Adhesive Loop Come With My Order?
Yes. All of our Garage Screen kits use adhesive loop to attached to your residential or commercial area. A standard white roll will be provided to fit your order (unless otherwise requested.)
How Can I Keep the Adhesive Loop from Peeling Off?
The adhesive loop is designed to adhere to outdoor frames, but somestimes ouside factors can affect the durability of the adhesion. Begin by making sure the surface is clean from oils or debris that may prevent full contact. Next, round out the corners on your adhesive loop after applying it by cutting the corner edges. This helps prevent the adhesive loop from pulling. If your location is exposed to extreme weather or temeratures of is made from textures that do not support adhesive materials, try using roofing nails or similar product. **DO NOT APPLY NAILS THROUGH THE SCREEN ITSELF**
Does It Matter what Color My Adhesive Loop Is?
The adhesive loop is typically not seen when the screen is mounted to the frame, even if the screen is rolled up. However, removing the screen will leave this area exposed, so we offer two colors to match according to whether the frame is light or dark. Most garage frames are white, so white adhesive loop will come standard with garage screen orders unless otherwise requested to match dark frames.
