Warranties require customers to ship back their screens at their expense, with a copy of the purchase receipt. At our discretion Fresh Air Screen Company will replace or repair the screen. All returned screens are required to be clean or warranty may not be honored.
Our Standard Screen is made using a #6 zipper (like you find in a pair of Jeans). This Standard screen may be upgraded to a #10 zipper, (heavy duty, like you would find on tents and sleeping bags) for $20 per zipper and upgrades the screen to a (3) year warranty.
Our Heavy Duty Screen is made with a Super Screen material with Heavy Duty #10 Zippers and has a (5) year warranty. The cost is $110 more per screen than our standard screen.
Any screen that is 12’ or greater in height must be a Super Screen, or there is No warranty. These screens have extra webbing in place, and reinforced for maximum durability.
Warranty Exclusions
Warranties for any of our screens does not include:
- screens that have been damaged by a sharp object,
- screens that have been damaged by a vehicle,
- screens that have been damaged by an animal,
- Warranties also do not cover the Hook and Loop material that attaches to the doorframe, as we do not control the conditions of the surfaces to which the Hook and Loop material attaches. Hook and Loop material can be ordered and replaced at wholesale cost.
We recommend cleaning the surface of the doorframe thoroughly with mild soap and water or alcohol, before attaching the Hook and Loop material. We also recommend roofing nails be used at each end of the Hook and Loop strips and every 18” along the length of the strips to insure long lasting and maximum adhering of the Hook and Loop material.
FRESH AIR SCREENS RETURN POLICY
- We will accept returns of standard size screens for the total purchase price, less a $20 restocking fee.
- Custom and printed garage door screens cannot be returned.
- We are not responsible for inaccurate measurements on custom ordered screens. PLEASE MEASURE CAREFULLY.
A copy of the original purchase receipt is required for all returns, warranties and exchanges.
